We close the festival with a workshop that will awaken all your senses; the writing and reading of poetry informed by olfactory exploration. This poetry and perfumery workshop will take place in the beautiful hills of Buttes Chaumont.

Artists continue to bend light, sound and thought to create new meanings and embrace redirection with curiosity and optimism.
This year, the Paris Postgraduate Festival will disperse the prismatic visions of up-and-coming artists into multiple venues across Paris.
This curated selection of free events will take you on a synesthetic journey through sounds, scents, images, tastes and discussions.

THE

Beth Privitera (she/her)
Festival Director
Beth is a film programmer who has curated panel discussions at the BFI Southbank and hosted Q&A’s for BFI Film Academy. She is currently on the selection committee for the BFI London Film Festival. Experienced in festival delivery, she’s worked with organisations such as The Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art, Borderlines and Encounters.
Beth’s vision for the festival is to nurture new collaborations between emerging creatives, curators, and filmmakers.
Lily Hibberd (she/her)
Art Director
Lily is an artist and illustrator studying an MA in History and Philosophy of Art. She is a graduate of Fine Art from the University of Westminster.
As the artistic eye behind the festival design, she has contributed original illustrations and graphics. Her artwork will feature in the upcoming edition ofThe Menteur.

Jessie Frizzell (she/her)
Assistant Director
Jessie is a screenplay writer and artist from New York, currently pursuing a Masters in Creative Writing. She has a background in film, working on various independent projects between New York and London. Jessie is the Co-Head of Design and Head of Events for The Menteur literary and arts magazine. She also operates as a contributing editor for several film production houses.
Joining the Paris School of Arts and Culture Festival has been an opportunity to step into a leadership role within arts and production, while continuing her goal of amplifying the voices of new artists.
Klaudia Kondraciuk (she/her)
Curator Coordinator
Event Curator
Klaudia is an MA History and Philosophy of Art student based in Paris. With previous experience at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Tate Modern in the UK, she is especially interested in the dialogue between olfactory works of art and cultural narratives.
Her goal is to work with under-represented artforms, such as wallpaper, tea, nail art and perfumes.
She is excited to collaborate with other creatives on this project, focusing on translating collective identity through scented arts.
Alicia Glenn (she/her)
Director of Communications
Alicia is a History and Philosophy of Art MA student and lover of the written word. As a former journalist she has contributed to Vanity Fair, Tatler and BOAT International. Her background in PR and Communications led her to pursue the role of Director of Communications, in which she is happiest collaborating with her peers to build an artistic community in Paris.
Through the The Paris School of Art & Culture Festival, she aims to connect artists with new audiences and articulate their practices with clarity and creativity.
Giulia Giovannini (she/her)
Design &
Social Media Manager
Giulia graduated in Cultural Heritage from the University of Florence, and now studies History and Philosophy of Art. Dedicated to the study and promotion of contemporary visual arts, she has curated contemporary art exhibitions with international artists. Giulia is pursuing a career in film journalism and magazine publications, and is the founder and Co-Editor in Chief of Italian Magazine Uncle Yanco.
Through the the festival she aims to encourage the emergence of artistic and social synergies between the public, artists and the city.
Isabel Irvine (she/her)
Event Curator
Isabel is the former Manager of Cole Pratt Gallery in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is currently an MA Student in History and Philosophy of Art.
Isabel has a background in art curation and exhibitions and is excited to bring her expertise to a new venue in Paris. She will be curating an exhibition highlighting local artists and those featured in the University of Kent’s publication The Menteur.
Valentin Neuroth (he/him)
Event Curator
Valentin is pursuing an MA in History & Philosophy of Art in Paris. Preparing to launch a career in European film production, he will be working with the ÉCU and Balkans Beyond Borders festival later this year.
“Refractions” makes us aware of all the ways in which we perceive the world, through art. Reconciling his past as an amateur jazz pianist with his fondness for the moving image, Valentin hopes to bring together talents from diverse backgrounds to help create an experience that speaks to mind and body alike.
Livia Cret (she/her)
Event Curator
Livia is pursuing her career as a writer in continuation of her bachelor’s degree in philosophy. She won the second prize in the 2022 edition of the Romanian National Prose contest Mihail Sadoveanu. Her creative writing has appeared in Romanian and French literary magazines. She is currently working on her first novel, a dystopian sci-fi. Livia takes a particular interest in the interdisciplinary nature of arts.
Her curatorial event merges different art forms, with the goal of prioritizing the creative process over the finished product.

Emily Horn (she/her)
Consulting Producer
Mihnea is a filmmaker from Romania, studying for an MA in Film. He made his directorial debut with short film The Lion’s Den (2022), which won the Best Foreign Student Short Film award at the Hollywood Florida Film Festival. Mihnea has worked on several film sets as script supervisor and 2nd assistant director and he also works as Industry Location Manager for the Transilvania International Film Festival.
Mihnea's mission is to promote emerging filmmakers with bold visions, bridging the gap between them and their audience.
Emily is a multi-arts producer and theatremaker, studying History and Philosophy of Art. President of the Paris Society and Non-Fiction editor of The Menteur, she previously worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Hive Gallery, (Birmingham) BE FESTIVAL, the National Student Drama Festival and Edinburgh Fringe. Emily has toured England with Paperback Theatre and helped set up an arts festival, Little but LIVE!
She is joining the postgraduate festival team this year as a consultant and to provide general support.
Karah Bengs (she/her)
Budget Manager
Karah is an MA History and Philosophy of Art student living in Paris. Her work aims to bring together art and the environment, and look at the political underpinnings that art has to offer. She is an Editor-in-Chief of Kent’s literary magazine the Menteur, and was the Managing Editor for the literary journal Byzantium in 2021.
Working behind the scenes managing the budget allows Karah to grow her organizational skills, work creatively to fully realize all events, and expand her knowledge of festival inner workings.
Phoebe Templeton (she/her)
Budget Manager
Phoebe is a History and Philosophy of Art MA student in Paris. With an interest in political art and the aesthetics of subcultures, she aims to educate and influence through the artistic medium.
In joining the festival team she hopes to challenge herself in taking on an integral role in an attempt to expand her skills in planning and critical decision making, to ensure the festival reaches its potential.
