About the event

Our drinks reception will commence at 7pm, followed by a talk from Film Coordinator Martha Kershaw. The film (L'Auberge Espagnole) will begin at 8pm.

L'Auberge Espagnole follows Xavier, a Parisian economics student, as he moves to Barcelona for an exchange program. Here he joins a flat of European students, where cultures and languages mingle (and clash) in unexpected ways. L'Auberge is a light-hearted comedy about the joys and frustrations of mixed living situations. Xavier's horizons are expanded as he embarks on this new chapter.

Lost in Frenchlation host French film screenings with English subtitles in independent cinemas across Paris. Their aim is to "bring world-renowned French cinema to the international community in Paris", fostering connections in pre-film drinks receptions and post-film Q&As.
